CATL, ZF Group partners to advance aftermarket services for e-mobility, energy storage
Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and the ZF Group has announced that they have signed a global strategic partnership agreement to advance collaboration in aftermarket services, including Service network, battery-related training, connectivity, reuse, etc.
ZF and CATL intend to facilitate the mutual transfer of knowledge and know-how to enable a sustainable ecosystem and thus an attractive mobility experience for everyone.
CATL will increase its global after-sales capacities and efficiency through cooperation with ZF. With more than 10,000 operating partners on the global spare parts market and with its growing products for electric vehicles in OEM quality, ZF is the preferred option for expanding CATL's service network.
As part of the agreement, CATL will provide ZF with extensive know-how in the field of battery training, which will be combined with ZF's DGUV high-voltage training to improve the competitiveness of its training programs and other after-sales services. The two parties also agree to jointly define and improve standards to set the benchmark for the industry.
With the shared vision and mission of sustainability, CATL and ZF also agreed to work together on data connectivity and data reuse.
