Giga Carbon Neutrality (GCN) has announced that it has signed a contract to provide Guohua Environmental Energy Industry Development Company (Guohua Environmental Energy Industry Development Company, referred to as "Guohua Environmental Energy") supplies 2,520 pure battery heavy-duty trucks.

The order was signed by Guohua Environmental Energy on behalf of a large Chinese state-owned mining company. GCN will provide financial solutions for Guohua Environmental Energy's customers. The first batch of 20 pure battery vehicles will be rolled off the production line in the first half of 2022.

GCN will work with XCMG Group (XCMG) and Guohua Huaneng to produce trucks through strategic cooperation, and Guohua Huaneng will provide high-performance batteries for cold climate areas.

GCN announced in November 2021 that it plans to launch its full series of 21 pure battery electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles before the end of 2023, which can meet the needs of a wide range of commercial use scenarios. The first vehicles can be ordered now and will be delivered in 2022.

Marty Wade, CEO of Giga Carbon Neutrality, stated: "Just one week after announcing the signing of a contract for 200 hydrogen fuel cell trucks, we signed another contract for 2,520 pure battery trucks and a framework agreement for up to 8,000 new energy vehicles.
