Ruchira Green Earth unveils AKIRA range of li-Ion EV batteries

Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery manufacturer Ruchira Green Earth has announced that it has launched a new range of eco-friendly Li-ion electric vehicle (EV) batteries under its flagship brand 'AKIRA'.

The freshly launched Li-ion EV batteries' range comprises e-auto batteries, e-scooter batteries, and e-cycle batteries, with features such as cutting edge latest technology, easy to install, having a longer life, and they last long hauls while they get fully charged quickly.

Ruchira Green Earth, founded in 2020, has launched a new range of EV batteries to fulfill the huge demand for the most efficient and highly durable batteries in this specific segment, the company said in a declaration.

Commenting on the launch of the new range of batteries, Deepan Garg, Director of Ruchira Green Earth, said, "the Indian market is witnessing growing demand and a sustainable uptick in terms of volume for EV Batteries. We being the segment creators in this particular space are looking at leveraging on this opportunity with the exclusive range of AKIRA Li-ion EV batteries that provide sustainable, secure, and eco-friendly power. Considering that the need for efficient Li-ion EV batteries has reached unprecedented levels, we have already acquired a leadership position in the market by offering an unbeatable and broad range of AKIRA Li-ion EV batteries. We are observing a pent-up demand for our product line while achieving sustainable growth for our business with more and more new customers flocking to buy our one-of-a-kind products."

Besides, the company delivers free maintenance with three years full warranty on these batteries and has been awarded contracts from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Gemopai, Tunwal, Myantra, Benling, Komaki, and many more for the supply of li-ion batteries for their electric two-wheelers/EV scooters.

In May this year, the company unveiled its plan of investing about Rs 200 crore over the next three-four years to set up a new manufacturing unit in Haryana to double its production capacity.

The company, which has a current capacity of manufacturing up to 5,000 batteries per month, is setting up a new unit at Yamuna Nagar in Haryana to fulfill the rising demand for its products.

In the meantime, the lithium battery storage solutions provider manufactures high-quality batteries for e-scooter, e-rickshaw, e-auto, solar street lights, and solar-led energy storage systems. It produces Li-ion batteries in 2W/3W/4W categories for commercial vehicles, loaders, forklift trucks, golf carts, among others.
