At the recently held EV Nordic Summit in Oslo, Norway, XCHARGE premiered its latest Smart DC Charger C7 for EV fast-charging. The company claims that the charger boasts compact and barrier-free design, making it easily accessible for users and ensure operational efficiency for operators.
With up to 420 kW charging power, the C7 can charge two vehicles simultaneously. Large displays and eye-catching LED lights on the housing provide user-friendliness and prominent branding option for the operators, the XCHARGE adds. The equipment meets all technical and construction specifications for use in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the rest of Europe.

With its high charging power of 400 kW or 420 kW, the Smart DC Charger C7 claims to shortens the time users spend at the charging station. The power can be measured on the output side via a regular DC meter, while a PTB-certified version will be available in sometime, the company claims.
The C7, with its easy-to-use charging socket, integrated cable management, and intuitive touch displays, complies with all regulations of the German DIN 18040-3 for barrier-free construction in public transport and open spaces. At the same time, the compact also requires a minimum of floor space, according to XCHARGE.
Besides the new C7, XCHARGE's product portfolio includes the battery-integrated charger Net Zero Series and the smart DC charger C6EU. The company claims to apply "Hardware + Software" system to make a real difference to EV charging experience.
