Creatara Mobility Pvt Ltd., (Creata) an electric mobility venture has received a grant of ₹3.9 crore from the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India.
As per media reports, the grant was awarded to the EV startup under the Capital Goods Scheme for the development of indigenous technology.
"This grant is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team at Creatara" said Vikas Gupta, CEO, Creatara Mobility. "We are honoured to receive this support from the Ministry of Heavy Industries (GoI). This will motivate us to continue our mission of revolutionizing the electric two-wheeler market."
Creatara Mobility is an IIT Delhi-partnered e-mobility venture, supported by DST (Dept. of Science & Technology). It was incorporated in 2018 and was established to design, develop, and market sustainable mobility solutions.
Creatara is expected to utilize the funds to enhance its research and development efforts harnessing innovation and sustainability.
The startup had previously showcased VS4 and VM4 e-scooter concepts and promised several safety and robust performance capabilities. Their product is yet to make a market rollout however, Creatara's vision is to redefine personal mobility and provide context-specific, practical solutions to empower the lives of our customers.
