Leading charge point operator in India, GLIDA (formerly Fortum Charge and Drive India) has entered a strategic partnership with a smart public charging ecosystem provider, Statiq, to enhance EV charging convenience and accessibility in India.
Through the latest collaboration, GLIDA and Statiq aim to provide EV users with seamless interoperability between GLIDA's 700+ charging points and Statiq App enabling wide network access by cutting the need for multi-app usage for charging and connectivity.
"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with GLIDA to provide convenient EV charging to EV users across India. Apart from our existing 7000+ EV chargers, now you can charge at 700+ GLIDA charging points with our Static app," Statiq announced in a social media post.
"Moreover, GLIDA users can find our charging network on their mobile application, reducing the hassle of managing multiple charging apps."
Statiq enables EV users to locate and book EV chargers through a mobile app which also facilitates remote payment for the usage. It provides EV charging solutions for home, public, and commercial charging.
The GLIDA chargers will continue to be accessed through the GLIDA App and Charge-Thru, an app-diagnostic weblink solution designed for EV users.
The latest partnership is an important step toward GLIDA's mission of building a diverse and interconnected charging infrastructure across India, GLIDA stated.
