Europe's leading integrated solar solutions provider, SUNOTEC on Friday (March 8) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Huawei Technologies Bulgaria EOOD to further strengthen their cooperation for the supply of battery energy storage systems.
As part of the MoU, Huawei will ensure a reliable supply of BESS either directly or through Huawei's official distributor, while providing comprehensive technical support with regards to project execution in Bulgaria.

The next steps post-signing MoU include starting with the first phase of integration of BESS in major projects in Bulgaria.

According to Wood Mackenzie analysis, the global BESS integrator market has grown increasingly competitive, with the top 5 system integrators accounting for over 60 percent of overall BESS shipments (MWh). The Top 5 BESS system integrators globally include Sungrow, Fluence, Tesla, Huawei, and BYD.
