Indian EV charging solutions firm goEgoNetwork has recently unveiled its latest kerbside charging station, the 'Hornbill' series. With a ground-mounted base that doesn't need a pole or a wall for support, the EV charger system can be installed in high-end residential society premises and public places like parking bays, pitstops, malls, and so on.

Taking 'Hornbill' a notch higher, goEgoNetwork has equipped the charger with a 10-inch TFT LCD and visual indication through LED notifying charging session with status indicator and fault detection. It is also equipped with a host of safety features to protect the EV from over-voltage, under-voltage, short circuit, current surge, overheating, and residual current.

The 'Hornbill' comes with two charging guns with 5-meters long cables on each side that can deliver a maximum power output of 7.4 kW, even when two cars are connected at the same time.

To make the EV charging infrastructure robust in India, Sayantan Chakraborti, Co-founder of goEgoNetwork, said, "goEgo is launching multiple products in the next few months to cater to every customer in the home and public EV charging space".

"From smart home EV charging stations to both slow and fast public charging stations designed for Indian conditions, our new range of products offer a safe and convenient EV charging experience for everyone", he added.

goEgoNetwork manufactures its entire range of EV charging stations, for both commercial and domestic usage, at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The charging stations are ARAI certified and are built to provide an uninterrupted EV charging experience.

Apart from the latest 'Hornbill' series, the other charger ranges of the company include 'Albatross', 'Eagle' and 'Falcon' series.
