Indian electric bus maker JBM Electric Vehicles presented two of its latest e-bus products at the on-going Busworld Europe 2023 expo at Brussels, Belgium, thus marking the company's foray into the European Union region with its tailored-made solutions for mass e-mobility ecosystem.
The two products unveiled at the expo are the battery-electric city bus 'ECOLIFE' and inter-city luxury coach 'GALAXY'. According to the manufacturer, these buses feature light weight monocoque full stainless steel body structure and are equipped with state-of-the-art features including Intelligent Transport System and advanced telematics as per EU norms.
It is to be noted that the company previously displayed the 'GALAXY' electric coach at the Auto Expo 2023 earlier this year in India. The city bus, on the other hand, has received a nominal facelift.
Speaking at the launch event, Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman, JBM Group, commented on the development, "Our mission is to decarbonize city and intercity travel by creating new and sustainable global benchmarks. We are delighted to offer clean, silent, energy efficient and sustainable public transport solutions over the years".

It is to be noted that JBM is also building a comprehensive and intelligent EV ecosystem named as 'JBM E-Verse', which integrates electric vehicles, battery technology, power infrastructure, fast charging infrastructure, and power electronics, combining the company's expertise in customizing solutions for the needs of different global markets.
The company claims to have already deployed over 5,000 electric buses in various geographies, with a manufacturing capacity of over 20,000 buses per year.
