The Ministry of Heavy Industries has successfully concluded a pre-bid meeting for the remaining 10GWh of advanced chemistry cells (ACC) manufacturing capacity under the ACC PLI scheme.
The meeting held on Monday (Feb. 12) at IFCI Limited in New Delhi witnessed participation from 18 companies along with key industry stakeholders and government bodies including NITI Aayog, Ministry of Power, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, and industry association, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA).
MHI provided clarity on the scope and objectives of the scheme along with the technical specifications, eligibility criteria, and evaluation process at the meeting. MHI clarified the last date for receiving queries from bidders would be March 4, 2024.
The pre-bid meeting was part of the preparation for the upcoming global tender inviting bids for the establishment of giga-scale ACC manufacturing facilities of cumulative 10GWh capacity.
The tender documents were made available by MHI on January 24, 2024 and the bid due date is April 22, 2024.
