Indian EV charging solutions company goEgoNetwork has recently entered a strategic partnership with Bengaluru-based SRIT India Pvt. Ltd. to set up its first fast charge park for EVs in Bengaluru, Karnataka at ITPL Main Road, Kundalahalli, Brooke Field.
As part of expanding its reach in Karnataka's developing EV-charging market, under the guided approach of SRIT, goEgoNetwork is planning to set up at least 500-1000 charging stations across the state in one year.
The company says that the 24x7 state-of-the-art charge park in Bengaluru will be equipped with one unit each of goEgoNetwork's Pelican Pro (60 kW), Pelican (15 kW - GBT), Eagle, and Albatross chargers to ensure efficient and fast charging of all types of EVs including two, three and four-wheelers.
goEgoNetwork's Pelican EV charging station has a powerful capacity of 60kW. With this charger, e-car users can charge their vehicles to 80 percent in just 45-60 minutes, and can enjoy a full charge in just 90-120 minutes depending on the size of the battery.
"We are elated for having partnered with goEgoNetwork to set up the fast charge park at SRIT premises. As the number of residents in the vicinity and our employees have been increasingly vouching on EVs either through public transport or personal vehicles, we felt that there was a need to let them commute without fearing range anxiety. The fast-charging facility is open to two, three, and four-wheeled vehicles along with the capacity to even charge 9-meter electric buses. It is a revolutionary move for the residents of Bengaluru who are dependent on EVs for their daily commute," said Anwar Haveri, Director, SRIT.
