L&T Technology Services secures U.S Tier-1 automotive company $45 million EV contract

L&T Technology Services Limited has announced that it has been awarded a contract worth $45 million from a US Tier 1 automotive company, to become its strategic engineering partner and deliver engineering services for its electric vehicle (EV) product portfolio.

Under the terms of the five-year agreement, LTTS will work with the customer to deliver solutions leveraging its expertise in e-mobility technology. These solutions will notably be provided by the LTTS ER&D center located in Krakow, Poland.

LTTS plans to bring over 300 engineers to work from its center in Krakow, Poland over the next three years, marking its expansion into Eastern Europe.

Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of L&T Technology Services stated, "We have invested in Electric, Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (EACVs) as part of our six big bets and our engineers have developed several new e-solutions. mobility solutions that can accelerate the electric vehicle development journey of global automotive players.

This historic agreement confirms that our strategic investment is paying off and establishes LTTS' leading position in the EACV industry. The R&D center in Krakow will serve as a nearshore center for Western European and North American customers in all vertical markets, Mr. Chadha added.
