Motovolt, CSC Grameen E-Store collaborate to accelerate EV adoption pan-India

Electric mobility company Motovolt Mobility Pvt. Ltd has announced that it has entered into a collaboration with CSC Grameen E-Store to make e-mobility available pan-India.

Under the alliance, Motovolt will make its range of e-cycles available in the remotest villages of India.

Taking advantage of the burgeoning e-commerce revolution, Motolvolt's partnership with CSC Grameen E-store will improve the quality of life in places where there is a lack of public transport by providing an affordable commute option. In the aftermath of COVID-19, the e-cycles will now be available to consumers in rural India at the click of a button and in the safe precincts of their homes.

Talking about the collaboration, Tushar Choudhary, Founder, Motovolt, said, "This partnership with CSC Grameen E-store will take us a step closer to the dream of ensuring that every city and village in India ride electric. Our e-cycles are zero-emission, cost significantly less to own, operate more efficiently than an electric 2-wheeler, and can be safely used without the need for registration or driving license, etc. As one of India's largest e-commerce stores, CSC estore network is now available across all states and union territories in India. We hope that through this partnership we will be able to take our affordable e-cycles to everyone in India. What a person needs to do is to visit the nearest CSC and place an order. The CSC VLE will ensure timely delivery.

Adding further, Dr.Dinesh Kumar Tyagi MD- CSC SPV, said "CSC has taken the initiative for promoting Rural e mobility mainly to ensure that students, small vendors, farmers and women enhance their business, economic and social activities. Our partnership with Motovolt will go a long way in fulfilling the vision of enhancing mobility for the Rural populace and achieving the Government vision of Gram Swaraj and Atmanirbhar Bharat."

The smart e-cycles from Motovolt operate on advanced Li batteries and are therefore sustainable and have a longer lifespan. Many consumers across India are satisfied with Motovolt's e-cycles and rate them as an effective and convenient commute option over two and four-wheelers.
