Okaya EV launches new e-scooters promising extended range in India
E2W brand Okaya EV has recently expanded its product portfolio with two new variants of 'Faast' range of high-speed, high-range electric scooters for the Indian market. The new e-scooters 'Faast F2B' and 'F2T' are priced at ₹ 89,999 and ₹ 84,999 respectively, launch on the onset of the festive season as consumers flock to take deliveries of new vehicles.
The manufacturer claims that the F2B and F2T delivers a power packed ride with a top speed of 70 kmph via its 2000 W motor, while offering a mileage of 85 km per charge for F2T and 70-80 km per charge for the F2B variant.
Both variants come with a 2.2kWh LFP Battery. The F2B comes with the battery packed neatly under its floorboard thus giving users a large boot space, while the F2T offers the users the benefit of battery portability with its battery placed under the rider's seat.
Okaya e-scooters are available across India via its 550+ exclusive outlets across the country. The brand's spectrum of E2Ws ranges between ₹ 74,999 for its low-speed models to ₹ 109,000 for its flagship high-speed 'Faast F4', which delivers 140-160 km to the charge.
The 'Faast' range of e-scooters come with Lithium-ion battery that enables charging within 4-5 hours. An additional app-based IOT connectivity is offered to help with vehicle tracking, keyless operation, battering statistics and so on. The power output of these EVs are rated at 1200 W/ 2500 W, while other highlights include combi braking system and telescopic suspension.
