Park+, goEgoNetwork partners to install EV charging stations in India
Park+ and goEgoNetwork have announced that they have partnered to install EV charging solutions in India. The partnership will lead to a network of charging infrastructure for EVs across India, starting with Delhi-NCR.
The alliance will provide EV users charging infrastructure in the comfort of their residential society, office, favourite mall, etc. The partnership will also help commercial establishments, residential apartments, tech parks, and public parking spaces to provide a reliable EV Charging solution in their premises. Starting with five cities, the partnership will cover the top 20 cities in the next couple of years.
More than 20 lakh customers rely on Park+ for their car-related needs. Additionally, Park+ manages parking and access control systems at more than 1,500 residential societies, malls, corporate offices, and public parking spaces. goEgoNetwork charging solutions are OCA certified, making this collaboration immensely useful for the entire EV ecosystem.
Amit Lakhotia, Founder & CEO, Park+ stated "Park+ is committed to bringing delight back to car ownership – by building an integrated ecosystem of all car-related services. Low penetration of EV chargers is the biggest factor that discourages potential EV customers from buying one. With our unique real estate access, large demand generating consumer base, and strong technology stack, we are confident of solving this problem in collaboration with our partners."
Dheeman Kadam, Co-founder at goEgoNetwork, said, "Charging infrastructure is one of the key barriers of EV adoption. With this initiative, we hope to provide consumers easy access to EV charging stations. A lot of youngsters today prefer EVs as they are cost-effective, have no carbon emissions, zero noise and this kind of initiative to create EV charging infrastructure fast should encourage EV adoption among them. This is also in tune with the goEgoNetwork's vision of empowering EV owners with a wide network of charging solutions, near wherever they go."
