WardWizard expands ‘Joy e-bike’ portfolio with high-speed and delivery e-scooters

Gujarat-based WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd. that manufactures 'Joy e-bike' brand of E2Ws has recently launched two new high-speed e-scooters 'Wolf+' and 'Gen Next Nanu+' for the domestic market, along with 'Del Go' delivery e-scooter for fleet management operations.

The new electric scooters mark the entry of 'Joy e-bike' brand into the high-speed e-scooter segment in the country. They are designed and developed by the local R&D team with a focus to promote localization and the 'Make-in-India' initiative. Manufacturing will happen in the company's state-of-the-art facility located in Vadodara, the company said.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheetal Bhalerao, Chief Operations Officer, WardWizard, said, "Joy e-bike has already proven its strength in the low-speed segment, and now the company is focusing to expand its portfolio in the high-speed segment which is attracting all age-groups and especially the next-gen commuters".

"We are also entering the new fleet management vertical with Del Go. We understand the need of our customers and so, the new products exhibit our efforts to excite the customers with leading technology, efficiency and comfort. We shall be striving further to enhance our portfolio with more products in this year", she added.

The new high-speed e-scooters come with Lithium-Ion (NMC) detachable battery that can charge in 4-5 hours, while offering a riding range of up to 100 kms on a single charge. The scooters are equipped with smart and intelligent features including multiple riding modes, reverse mode, anti-theft, and regenerative braking. The Del Go comes with fleet health monitoring and geo-fence alerts.
