Fire at EV parking lot in Delhi; cause of fire under investigation

A massive fire broke out at an electric vehicle parking in Delhi's Jamia Nagar Metro Station on Wednesday, June 8, damaging several electric vehicles and ICE vehicles parked in the vicinity.

While no casualties were reported, the Delhi Fire Services officials said, "a total of 10 cars, one motorcycle, two scooty, 30 new e-rickshaws, and 50 old e-rickshaws had caught fire."

Delhi Fire Services deployed seven fire tenders to bring the flames under control at the parking site as per reports by News Agency, ANI.

The Delhi Fire Services has yet to ascertain the cause of the fire.
