OSM, Sun Mobility partners to deploy 10,000 e-3W with swappable batteries
Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Bangalore-based Sun Mobility to initially launch 10,000 units of OSM Rage+ e-three-wheeler with smart, swappable batteries across the country.
The partnership will give OSM access to Sun Mobility's network of Swap Points with advanced Quick Interchange Station (QIS') and real-time visibility via a state-of-the-art, IoT-based, end-to-end energy infrastructure management platform.
Sun Mobility has installed its swapping stations at locations such as Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) fuel stations, which allows customers to swap batteries in under two minutes.
The USP of Sun Mobility's swappable battery technology is that it offers interoperability across two- and three-wheelers.
