Schneider Electric unveils new battery lab in Bengaluru
Energy management and automation major, Schneider Electric has inaugurated a new battery lab in Bengaluru to advance R&D in battery technologies.
The company has invested $1.7 million in advancing sustainable energy solutions and the new facility is expected to spearhead the development of innovative battery technologies and explore new energy storage solutions.
"The inauguration of the Battery Lab is not just a step forward for our company but a leap forward for the entire industry," said Pankaj Sharma, Executive Vice President of the Secure Power Division at Schneider Electric. "By focusing on collaborative research and pushing the boundaries of what's possible, we're paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future."
The battery lab has modern safety systems and dedicated testing chambers to ensure optimal performance of batteries with adherence to stringent safety standards. The new battery lab is key in the company's efforts to drive energy transition and to develop sustainable energy solutions.
