HyET, ENPRO sign deal on hydrogen-processing technology

HyET Hydrogen of Netherlands has signed an MoU with ENPRO Industries of India to collaborate on hydrogen-processing technologies.

Under the agreement, ENPRO will serve as the engineering and manufacturing partner for electrochemical hydrogen processing equipment for various hydrogen capacities and pressure ranges. The Indian company will also set up and oversee the manufacture and assembly of HyET equipment.

Arnhem-based HyET develops and markets electrochemical hydrogen processing technologies that cover compression, purification and extracting of the gas. This involves small-scale compression systems catering to the building heat & power market, as well as large-scale compression and purification systems that serve the transport and mobility market. The company has a global footprint, having installed systems in Netherlands, USA and Japan, among other locations.

ENPRO, based in Pune, is a global leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of mechanical fluid systems, process equipment and renewable projects such as gasification, pyrolysis, hydrogen storage and hydrogen generation and engineering services. The company boasts a ASME U2 certification, and also holds certification for AD Merck Blatter, PD – 5500, TEMA, PED/CE mark.
