OKAYA launches Faast range of high-performance e-scooters at EV India Expo 2021

Bridging the gap between performance and pricing, Okaya Electric Vehicles has announced that it has launched the newest in the long line up of high-speed electric two-wheelers at the EV Expo 2021 held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. Named, the Okaya Faast, the e-Scooter offers a top speed of 60-70 kmph and has a range of between 150-200 km per charge depending on usage, and comes packed with top of the line features and specs including a 4.4 kilowatt Lithium Phosphate Battery, all LED lights, Digital Instrument Cluster, Daytime Running Lights, Combi Braking System, and is completely IoT enabled.

With the advent of Faast, the much-awaited demand of Indian consumers seems to now come to an end, as at an introductory price of Rs. 89999 before state subsidies, the Faast with its performance specs and features has managed to hit the sweetest spot in the market, directly challenging its petrol scooter counterparts. Customers can start booking the vehicle at just ₹1999 from the Okaya EV website or at dealerships.

While Okaya EV relentlessly works on introducing high spec electric two-wheelers, they are also on track to becoming India's fastest-growing EV brand, having developed over 225 dealers across the length and width of India in under 6 months of its inception in July 2021.

While unveiling the Faast, Okaya also gave a glimpse by showcasing its upcoming E-Motorcycle, Ferrato. The motorcycle is rumored to be launched in the 2nd quarter of FY22. Packed with a 2 Kilowatt motor and 3-kilowatt battery, the Ferrato will carry a top speed of 80-90 kmph while having a range of up to 100 kms to the charge.
